The Writers Lab 2016 Presented by IRIS and New York Women in Film and Television The Writers Lab brings 12 promising scripts from women screenwriters over the age of 40 together with outstanding professional female filmmakers for an intensive three-day script development workshop. We will accept applications February 1, 2016 through April 14, 2016. Applications will be accepted online only. The submission portal will be available on February 1, 2016. Early Bird Fees and Late Fees will apply: Non-members: Early Bird: $35 (Deadline: March 1, 2016) Regular: $50 (Deadline: March 31, 2016) Late Fee: $65 (Deadline: April 14, 2016) Members of NYWIFT, other WIF chapters*, and WGA: $30 (Deadline: April 14, 2016) *Members of other Women in Film chapters must provide proof of membership via a letter from their chapter's staff or Board President. This year's lab will take place at The Guest House Retreat located in the Connecticut River Valley. The Writers Lab is presented in collaboration with the Writers Guild of America, East.
